JUDGMENT DAY MEMBER BREAKS CHARACTER TO PAY TRIBUTE TO SHEAMUS

A member of The Judgment Day has broken character to pay tribute to Sheamus ahead of WWE RAW. The Judgment Day's Finn Balor and JD McDonagh captured the World Tag Team Championship from Awesome Truth last week on RAW thanks to interference from Liv Morgan.

WWE shared a video of several stars commenting on what it was like to work with Sheamus. World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest was featured in the video and he claimed that The Celtic Warrior was likely heading to the Hall of Fame. The Archer of Infamy praised Sheamus for mentoring younger wrestlers and joked that he wanted the veteran to stay away from him.

"Sheamus, congratulations on your obviously Hall of Fame career. What you have meant to this business, and to people like myself trying to make a name for themselves in it. It is something special that you should be proud of. Mentoring guys, battle-testing guys, and then just going out there and putting it all on the line, and giving your all for the WWE Universe. That is what we can all strive for, let alone all of the accolades you have. So, I just want to say thank you. We all appreciate you, and please stay the hell away from me," said Priest.

The 46-year-old veteran just celebrated the 15th year anniversary of his in-ring debut with the Stamford-based global juggernaut.

Damian Priest discusses issues with The Judgment Day on WWE RAW

Damian Priest recently claimed that the issues within The Judgment Day all stem from a lack of communication.

Speaking with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Senior Editor, Bill Apter, in an exclusive interview earlier this year, the World Heavyweight Champion discussed The Judgment Day not getting along with each other. He noted that families fought all the time and the issues could be resolved with better communication among his stablemates.

"It actually comes from a lack of communication. Look, families fight all the time. Doesn't change who they are, doesn't change how they feel about each other and that's where we're at. We all love each other, we're good. There's no issues that's gonna last forever. It's just a matter of us fixing our communication so we all get on the same page," noted Priest. [From 1:42 onwards]

Damian Priest will be forced to leave The Judgment Day if he loses his World Heavyweight Championship to Seth Rollins at WWE Money in the Bank. It will be fascinating to see who will emerge victorious in the title match next weekend in Toronto.
