INDIANA FEVER ANNOUNCE MAJOR STARTING LINEUP CHANGE BEFORE ACES CLASH

The Indiana Fever are rolling out a new starting lineup for Tuesday evening's marquee matchup against the reigning-champion Las Vegas Aces.

Katie Lou Samuelson has replaced Kristy Wallace in the Fever's starting five, marking her sixth start of the 2024 WNBA season.

Samuelson played the majority of the fourth quarter in Sunday afternoon's upset win over the Phoenix Mercury. In the five minutes Samuelson played with starters Aliyah Boston, Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Mitchell and NaLyssa Smith, the Fever outscored the Mercury 14-8.

Samuelson worked out with the starters in shootaround on Tuesday afternoon.

Head coach Christie Sides was asked about the potential change at shootaround.

"We're just trying out some different things," Sides said, via Chloe Peterson.

The Fever and Aces will tipoff in this highly-anticipated regular-season matchup at 9:30 p.m. ET.
