EVERYONE'S PRAISING SEAHAWKS FOR 'CLASSY' MOVE WITH RUSSELL WILSON

Russell Wilson might be two teams removed from his Seattle Seahawks tenure, but the team that drafted him hasn't forgotten about him.

Earlier this afternoon Wilson revealed the team sent him a special gift before the 2024 season kicks off. The nine-time Pro Bowler received one of the team's throwback jerseys with his name and number on it.

"Seahawks super, super grateful you guys sent me this. Obviously, a lot of amazing memories there and so you guys sending me this means the world to me," Wilson said in the video. "Forever grateful."

Fans loved the classy gesture from the Seahawks and most want Wilson to come back to the team for one last ride.

"This is a sign to come back home for one last ride next year," one fan said.

"Forever grateful for what you did for the team," said another.

"Miss those days.. greatest player to ever touch the Seahawks," offered a third.

Wilson helped the team to two Super Bowl appearances, winning one - while losing another in heartbreaking fashion.

Now he's hoping to reinvent his career with the Pittsburgh Steelers, who signed the quarterback to a one-year veteran minimum deal this offseason.
