27-YEAR-OLD WWE STAR SURPRISES EVERYONE AS HE INVADES TNA

WWE and TNA have recently joined hands for a highly successful pro wrestling collaboration. IMPACT stars have made their way to the Stamford-based promotion and fought in championship matches. Notably, a 27-year-old star recently left the confines of WWE to launch a surprise invasion at TNA.

Charlie Dempsey shocked several pro wrestling fans when he showed up at TNA. According to PWInsider, the NXT Superstar was seen entering the ring in an episode taped in Philadelphia and attacking Leon Slater and Trey Miguel. Moreover, he didn't stop there and even landed a blow on the referee.

Charlie Dempsey was recently the holder of the NXT Heritage Cup, along with his faction No Quarter Catch Crew. The cup was taken away from him when Tony D'Angelo defeated him after kidnapping his teammates. Now, it seems Dempsey has also turned over to more invasive means and made a cross-company hit on TNA in Philly.

Interestingly, while William Regal's son breached the walls of TNA, one of the biggest IMPACT stars may soon launch an attack on WWE as well.

Will Joe Hendry return to WWE for revenge?

The June 18, 2024, episode of WWE NXT saw Joe Hendry make an appearance to compete in a Battle Royal match. The former TNA Digital Media Champion was looking forward to outlasting everyone and challenging Trick Williams for the NXT Championship. However, the top star was ganged up upon entry and was eliminated by Frankie Kazarian and Myles Borne.

Joe Hendry didn't like this move of opportunism at all and as he left the NXT arena, he screamed, looking at Kazarian, "This isn't over!" Hendry later revealed in an interview that he was added to the show at the last minute and thus, may not have been very well-prepared. But, his next attack may not be so ill-crafted. It would be interesting to see when he returns and gets his payback.
