ARCH MANNING BREAKS SILENCE ON RELATIONSHIP WITH QUINN EWERS

Arch Manning has spent a lot of time with Texas Longhorns quarterback Quinn Ewers. Manning spoke about the relationship with Ewers, per On3 Sports' Thomas Goldkamp

Ewers should be an excellent quarterback to learn under for Manning. Ewers set career highs in 2023 with 3,479 passing yards and 27 total touchdowns for Texas. Ewers led his team to the College Football Playoff semifinal last season.

Manning revealed that he's trying to learn everything from the Texas quarterback. He even called the two "good friends" at the Manning Passing Academy Friday.

“He’s been great, learning under him, just the way he goes about his business and attacks his preparation,” Arch Manning told On3’s Shea Dixon at the Manning Passing Academy Friday. “I’m thrilled that I’ve been learning from such a good guy. He carries himself in a good manner and we’re good friends, so it’s been awesome.”

It is not hard to see why Manning and Ewers have become friends. Manning and Ewers were the top prospects nationally at quarterback and in their home states for their respective classes.

Ewers will be starting at quarterback again this season in Austin. Texas kicks off the 2024 season against the Colorado State Rams on Aug. 31. Kickoff will be at 3:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.
