KEVIN HARVICK WARNS NASCAR DRIVERS TO AVOID VETERAN STAR

Kyle Busch is on an unprecedented dry spell, and Kevin Harvick has certainly taken note.

Busch has not won on the NASCAR Cup Series since June 4, 2023, a span of 40 races. That's the longest stretch without a victory in his outstanding career.

On Sunday, Busch was on his way to his first top 10 finish in nearly two months when he crashed during an overtime restart late in the Ally 400. The two-time Cup Series champion eventually finished 27th.

Things have gotten so bad, Harvick told other drivers they might want to avoid Busch on this week’s edition of the “Happy Hour” podcast.

“You know, the first part of the race they ran 30th, 31st, running in the back,” Harvick said., via On3.“Terrible, all the mistakes. Finally, they get it all turned around and they get the track position. They get up front, and he gets sent out of the line. He’s the guy that gets sent out of the line and into the fence. I don’t even know how you fix it at this point because they didn’t do anything wrong. He didn’t do anything wrong. He is on the worst bad luck cycle of anyone on the circuit right now and it is bad. Don’t go around Kyle Busch right now because if you want bad luck. Don’t get around that guy because he is plagued with bad luck.”

The last time Busch went winless in a Cup Series season was 2004, when he competed in less than 10 races.

Busch has just seven regular season events left to grab a W, starting with this weekend's Chicago Street Race.
